Author: JoMac53 Surnames: Harrison Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newjersey.counties.middlesex/4122/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have Thomas Harrison, abt 1839 England, living with his wife Eliza, abt 1844 NY, and 4-year-old son Henry in South Amboy in 1870. Thomas was a machinist and is listed as an alien. Little Henry was actually born in Jersey City, not NY as the census states. I can't find this family anywhere in 1880 so this is where my trail goes cold. Henry is getting married in Red Bank, Monmouth county, by 1888 and moves back to Jersey City with is bride but his mom & pop never show up again as far as I can find.
