Most of what I know comes from that saem headstone you mentioned. I found it a couple years ago while searching for the Gillis family. John Gillis born 1830 and died 4 March 1875 married to Elizabeth Ruddy died 15 September 1889. I had tried to botain both of their death certificates with no success. They told me there were no reported deaths for Woodbridge in 1875 and instead of providing a death certificate for Elizabeth Ruddy who died in 1889, I received one for an Elizabeth Ruddy who died March 20, 1876 in Woodbridge. She is listed as a widow at 103 years of age from Scotland. The cause of death is old age. No other information was supplied. There is a slim chance my cousin might ahve somehting else in her research. I'll check and find it. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
