He is my grandmother's father and it is almost as if he never existed because I can't find ANYTHING on him...I was able to find his family in the 1930 census living in New Brunswick before he was born. His father was John H. Conover, his mother was Anna Conover, and he had three brothers (at this time) named John Jr., Franklin, and Richard. He married my g-grandmother Freddie Lee Wilkerson sometime in the 1950s, they later got divorced (in the 1950s) and this is about as much as I know. Other than that I cannot find any information on him at all...I live in Hawaii so I don't have access to all the records stored in New Jersey...does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do next?
