Thomas E. Payne or Thuney D. Payne b: 1821 in Metuchen, Middlesex, N.J. Spouse: Elizabeth A. or Mary E. b: 1817 in Metuchen, Middlesex, N.J. Thomas and Elizabeth/Mary had 10 children: 1. Jermiah F. b: 1841 N.J. in 1880 census lived in Whitestone, Queens, New York City M: DRUCILLA b: d: One son: Arthur C. 22 May 1864 Woodbridge, Middlesex, New Jersey 2. Bethune D. b: 1844 Metuchen, Middlesex, N.J. 3. Martin N. b: 1845/1846 N.J. 4. Anna E. b: 1846/1847 N.J. 5. Mary F. b: 1851 N.J. 6. Susan E. b: 1853 N.J. 7. Willetta J. b: 1855 N.J. 8. Sarah M. abt. 1857 9. Thomas E. Jr. abt. 1860 10. Arthur C. abt. 1864 In 1850 and 1860 Thomas and Elizabeth lived in Woodbridge, NJ. In 1870 and 1880 census Thomas lived in Rarian Twp, NJ. Thomas was my 4th great grandfather. His son Bethune Dunkin was my 3rd great. Bethune D. died 5 April 1925 in Rosita, Custer county, Colorado. He married Sarah Belle Akin and had two children. Then divorced. He adopted one girl name Lois Nettie Payne. Sarah and Bethune D. children were Bethune Calvin Payne and Willetta B. (Payne) Clift. B.C. is buried in Heber City, Utah. Willetta Clift is buried next to her father in Rosita, Colorado. I'm trying to find when Thomas Payne died and where in New Jersey.
