I am trying to find information of my great grandfather Theodore Albert Sutphin born abt 1848/9, I believe in area of Cranbury NJ. His civil War paper states he was born in Cranbury NY but archives says no such County in NY. Someone sent me information with a Reuben and Edith Sutphin on 1850 census. They had a son age 1 listed as Theodore Sutphin. I believe this to be my Theodore. Does anyone have any information of this family? I would appreciate any information of this family.
