    1. Cranbury - South Amboy Twp. Researchers Pre-1790s
    2. Are there other family researchers willing to share data and information regarding the early families of Cranbury (then Cranberry) as part of South Amboy Township? I have reference to Rev. Joseph Symmes 1869 listing of subscribers to the church in 1758 and 1788; as well as the REV WAR census and Norton's 1793 Militia census to contribute in any exchange. I am seeking any references to the SODEN family in Cranbury. John, Thomas and William (who died in the war) served in the REV WAR from Cranbury. John is listed in the 1758 subscribers list and Thomas in the 1788 list. I have reached a wall in my efforts to determine the parents of my ancestor Jonathan Soden [b. ca. 1776, m. (1) 1794 Lydia Applegate daughter of William (REV WAR) Applegate and Elizabeth Rogers, and m. (2) Mary Hillyer, likely daughter of John Hillyer (Huyler)]. Perhaps in your own research you may come across these families and will be kind enough to share any references. I will be pleased to provide look-ups in exchange. Cordially, Glenn Soden
