Where'd they come from, Garret and Benjamin? Garret Crusan and Benjamin Crusan both lived and paid taxes in Westmoreland County PA in 1786. Garret was born about 1755 and died in April, 1830. He married Rebecca (surname assumed to be Mitchell) around 1787/8. Crusan family tradition says that Benjamin was Garret's father. But was he? And where did they live before Westmoreland County PA? Bucks County? Philadelphia? Staten Island NY? Somerset or Middlesex County NJ? Where? Any advice or information would be most appreciated. Doris Lane
