Unfortunately, for the genealogical community researching Middlesex County, there are negative factors that one must take into account: 1) No County Society lack of a central resource for research assistance (Glenn's website does a great job in filling this need) 2) Lack of published resources (marriages, wills, land records, etc) Without these two pieces in place, researchers must keep their eyes wide open for any details/books that are mentioned. This includes the recent post about Russell Dutcher's book. I believe that a "Thank You" is more in order than a chastising message about advertising. If the listowner disagrees, it's their responsibility to address the violation of the list rules. I would hope that you will reconsider your position on this. -- Michelle Tucker Carteret, NJ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OKGenWeb County Coordinator: Cherokee Co.: http://www.rootsweb.com/~okchero2/index.htm OKGenWeb Archives: Adair Co.: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ok/adair/adair.html Sequoyah Co.: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ok/sequoyah/sequoyah.html Michelle's Home Page: http://members.home.net/famhist/shell.htm Countiss Connections: http://members.home.net/famhist/countiss.htm
