Dear Liz, While I can't say anything about the family, I suggest you contact the Genealogical Society of New Jersey or the Rutgers University Alexander Library Special Collections Dept. in New Brunswick, NJ. They have the holding of the society and over the past (many) years recorded cemetery inscriptions around the state. It is possible they may have recorded the information from that cemetery.
