In 1762, Elizabeth Warner was in Perth Amboy, Middlesex Co., NJ. She married, on July 20, John Scoby. At that time she was a widow, so Warner is her married name. Does anyone know what Warner Elizabeth was married to, if she had children, and what her maiden name was. I have no idea how old she was at that time. Her Scoby husband was supposedly 42. A man named WILLIAM JOLLY paid the 500£ fee for her to marry. Was he her father? That was a lot of money in those days. I can find no record of a Warner marrying a Jolly.
