Hello, I am interested in corresponding with anyone doing research on the COOK family in Monmouth and/or Middlesex counties. My main interest is finding the parentage of John COOK, born April 1787, in Long Branch, Monmouth county. I have recently heard that he may have been in Piscataway as well. He married Ann Huston, again in Long Branch, and had children there, namely my ancestor John Woolson COOK. Sometime around 1820, he migrated to Warren and Miami counties in Ohio and then to Kosciusko County, Indiana. He was known to exhort for the Methodist Episcopal church, but I have found no information on him from the Methodist church. Is there anyone who would want to respond to this inquiry?
