I am collecting information on the Dey families of Middlesex County, NJ. They lived primarily in Cranbury and New Brunswick Twp., about 1760 to present, with my interest being those who lived before 1850. They intermarried extensively with the families of Perrine, Mount, Rue, Ely. Name is sometimes spelled Dye. There were also lines of the same family in Freehold area and also in Mercer County, NJ. Descendants went to NY, PA, KY, VA, OH, and on to IL, IA, and CA. I have fair burial, chr., marriage records. I lack deeds and biographical data, and have very few records from family Bibles.
