Hello MCR's, Yesterday I was able to go to the Stelton Baptist Church, formally the First Baptist Church of Piscataway, Cemetery. It is located next to the church in a triangular area with the two long sides approx. 150 feet. The headstones were in various stages of weathering. Some were in perfect shape while others were illegible and broken. I quickly jotted down some of the surnames that were on the stones: The greatest amount of headstones belonged to the following families: Drake Runyon Dayton Randolph Dunn Stelle Other surnames were: Rush Martin Graves Dockstader Clarkson Henderson Williams Jones Hummer Higgins Smith Lewis Stine Walker Horcom Griffith The most interesting headstone belonged to Abraham Van Gilder which read: Born on the high seas in October 1701, died 1818 at age 116.
