Is there anyone on the list with knowledge of South River that could assist me? I have been searching for great-grandparents for almost 20 years. Grandfather, John Joseph RING, (born Austria) at age six immigrated from Bremen to NY in 1889. Nothing that I have found in his records leads to parents. I am now attempting to find g. grandparents through their eldest son Leopold RING. Leopold died in 1916 at the age of 41; I believe he died in South River. There is a strong indication that Leopold was Jewish. Are there any Jewish Cemeteries located in South River?
