Today we found that she was a widow. The 500 pound price paid to the governor to allow the marriage was paid by William Jolly. Was he her father? Brother? Is anyone researching the Jolly, Warner or Scoby families in this area in the late 1700's? The Scoby lot moved on into KY, TN, MO. Any info would be welcomed.
