Maybe this will help. My ancestor, Aaron M. Decker born 1786 had a brother James Decker who married Jane Luke. Her father was John Luke and they went to Crawford Co, Ohio in the 1830's.(Maybe this John was the one in the Revol War from Middlesex Co,NJ?) While researching these Deckers we learned that Ann Ryerson married an Abraham Luke who changed his name to Decker. This was in Morris and Bergen Cos. Abraham Luke/Decker who married Ann Ryerson died in Wanaque, NJ. Children of Abram purportedly: Abraham b 1778, John b. 1780,(Not Jane's dad-too young), Martin b 1781,George b. 1783,Jame b. 1785,Jane b. abt 1791 in NJ. william Nelson on pp 311-12 of "History of the City of Paterson and Co. of Passaic says that 2 daughters of Abraham Luke married Deckers: Jane m. Decker; Rachel m. Covas Decker. I know of a Luke who is looking for information. I am looking for information on Aaron's Dad, Peter Decker, one wife Styntie (possibly more than one) Hope this helps.
