Certainly some of Monnette's information is incorrect. But not for the lack of his trying , and the amount of money he poured into the project. His ideals were noble, but his recruitment of genealogists was flawed. Sometimes money is not the solution to a problem. I still find it useful as a guide, as I do all pieces of information. Some of his information has indeed survived under the harsh light of investigation, while other information has not. Dulcie
