My GG grandfather (David Beatty)was baptised there in 1857 but there is no indication of the family in N.B. until 1866. There is an Census index reference to a James Beatty (possibly his father) in Piscataway in 1850. It seems the distance to the Somerset St. church from Landing Lane wouldn't have been too much.
