Still trying to locate the Provoost family estate-David Provoost ,and wife Joannah Rynders, had the following children at their estate in N.J. ( their home) called RUDYARD on Raritan Bay. David Jr. born 1725, Barent b.1726,Helena b 1728,John b 1734,William b 1736 Both John d.1781 and William d. 1778 were buried in the family burying gound there at RUDYARD, overlooking the Rariton Bay in present day Perth Amboy NJ. Can anyone help me locate this place? I have tried the historical society, and the public library. Neither have replied to my letters that I sent to them in OCTOBER 1999. Any suggestions?? Is there anyone also researching this family of Provoost? or the Barent Rynders? Glad for any help you can give me.
