I didn't see what I wanted to find out. I am assisting a woman in our genealogy study group on her Annin ancestors. Do you know if a marriage license issued in 1846 in Essex Co NJ will have any names other than tha of the couple ? She knows it states they both lived in Rahway. Her problem is that a sister in law has 'muddled the waters' with dubious information. If we can learn the names of the parents or witnesses then we will be able to get her back on track. In 1969 it was known as Gagliardi-Kain Colonial Home, Inc and its phone number was 442-4646 I believe the 442 is a Perth Amboy area number. Where would one find the records for this funeral home? Did another funeral home take them over in the area? Thanks any direction would be greatly appreciated. dottie Email me at Allaire2004@eastlink.ca or leave me a message here. Thanks so much. 1. [NJMIDDLE] DRAKE Descendants
    2. Pam Drake
    3. According to the DRAKE DNA Project my line of Drake's is connected to Captain Francis Drake who moved to NJ.from NH.in the 1600's. I'm trying to tie up loose ends by figuring out where his descendants migrated to in the US. My EKA was William Drake born probably in Bucks Co.,PA.in the 1750's. He married Elizabeth Hinkle in 1780 in Frederick Co.,MD. I don't know for sure who his parents & grandparents were yet. He had at least two brothers,Thomas & David & one sister Hannah Drake. His brothers married Elizabeth's sisters Sarah & Margaret Hinkle. Their sister Hannah married first Robert Longshore,Jr.circa 1777 in Bucks Co.,PA. & second Daniel Cresap,Sr.in 1797 Allegany Co.,MD. My Drake line eventually migrated to Harrison Co., OH. in 1819 & beyond. Is anyone researching DRAKE's? Thanks for any help! Sincerely, Pam Drake in IN. padrake@sbcglobal.net
