    3. Is there anyone on the list with knowledge of South River that could assist me? I have been searching for great-grandparents for almost 20 years. Grandfather, John Joseph RING, (born Austria) at age six immigrated from Bremen to NY in 1889. Nothing that I have found in his records leads to parents. I am now attempting to find g. grandparents through their eldest son Leopold RING. Leopold died in 1916 at the age of 41; I believe he died in South River. There is a strong indication that Leopold was Jewish. Are there any Jewish Cemeteries located in South River? I would greatly appreciate it if some kind soul could send me the names and addresses if available. Thanks, Pat O'Toole

James Denham was a 1752-60 era Amboy quaker, and SHOTWELL'S,and Loofborough were here at Bethel ,Oh from that meeting, but as Baptist's. What were some other surnames attending that meeting about 1750. For certain, the central part of this Clermont Co,Ohio had many from Winsor twnsp; And I have Bonham and Bebout at Piscataway. Then we have many from Elizabeth in Essex co,and Shrewsbury and Dover Twnsp,of old Monmouth. We had many from Winsor,Middlesex, which [?] adjoins Millstone Twnsp of Monmouth Co. Know from tax list who was in Winsor but not Millstone. ___________________________________________________________________ Why pay more to get Web access? 1. [NJMIDDLE] MILLTOWN PUBLIC SCHOOL
    2. Ruth Skewis
    3. Listers, In an effort to thank the folks on this list who offered me help finding the proper name and location of Evergreen Cemetery in North Brunswick I submit this list of names. I hope this helps someone's research. I have a class picture from MILLTOWN PUBLIC SCHOOL, which has no date or grade printed on it (darn!) but there is a fine picture of the school and pictures of 32 kids who appear to be about 6th, 7th or 8th grade. This would have been taken in 1940, 1941, or 1942 as my Don is one of the kids and he graduated from 8th grade in 1942. These are the names as my husband remembers them. The spelling may be wrong, but he did the best he could in remembering his classmates. Sorta fun. If anyone has family in this picture and would like a scanned copy, I would be happy to send it to you. MILLTOWN PUBLIC SCHOOL - 1940/41/42??? (first row) GARRATSON, MARJORIE CHRIST, EVALYN SCORDO, MAMMIE ? CARINA, CLAIR ?, MILDRED WALENBROCK, EDNA ?, PETE SKEWIS, DON <---------- (second row) SADAN, ROBERT MEAD, MARION ? ? WATERS, SILVIA BRINDLE, DOROTHY SCHLOSSER, NOREEN CHRISTENSON, SVEND COFFEE, FRANCIS (third row) ? JENSEN, JUNE ?, IRENE (forth row) EVANS, WARREN GRUTTER, HERBERT (bottom - 5th row) HEINZE, ALVIN ? ?, LOUIS ADACHIO, HOHN ? Thanks again for the help on my Cemetery query - One of the Listers is going "above and beyond" and is to trek to the cemetery to search for our Skewis folks - THANKS Barry!!!!! 3. Trenton is a psychiatric hospital and has had a special place called the Vroom building that has housed the criminally insane for at least 40 years. What with the changes in institutionalization in these past years, I am not sure what it is in the present. But, in years ago, the criminally insane were incarcerated there. sue Suzanne Law Hawes Southampton, NY
