Is anyone researching these names in Middlesex County? Pastorio is an uncommon name - it seems certain anyone researching Pastorio has to be related. On the other hand, both Milazzo and Lupo are *very* common names. We're particularly interested in people related to Nunzio and Alfredo Milazzo, who came to New Brunswick from Sicily about 1913. Alfredo's second wife was Nunzio's wife's sister - they were Lupos. We don't know the first wife's surname. We're (my father and I; it's a project) also not certain how the Gangi name is connected. We believe Dad's mother's aunt married a Gangi and moved to Brooklyn. But, we're far from certain. Even if you're not related or researching, but know these people, please contact me with whatever you know. Though I'm not especially well versed in local history, since the nineteen twenties at least, the Milazzos seem to have been rather public people. Everyone seems to know them. If you just thought 'Does she mean the hairdressers?' you're thinking of the right family. Thank you in advance, Rob

Hi It looks like you are looking on the same tree(Feaster) It is also spelled Feister,Fiester. I tried under all the spellings and found they all listed the same date of birth and same parents. My father Henry, Born 1895 also had a father Henry, who born in 1865 .and his father was John who was from Bavaria. Check this with your info and send me some of your clues and maybe we might be a help to one another. Try to get it to me before Wed as we will be heading up that way in our wanderings
The attachment he refers to is what I think is called a mass card and it's from the Hulse Funeral Home in Spotswood. The only funeral home listed for Spotswood does not bear that name so it has probably changed hands, possibly several times, since the time of the card. Pat
Can anyone on the list help Bernard or give him suggestions for areas of investigation? Please respond to him directly as he is not on the list. Hello Jackie, Yes, this can be a small world. I was in St. Paul yesterday, live in Martell Township, WI (near River Falls) and grew up in Keyport, Monmouth Co, NJ. And here we are both on our computers trying to figure out who married who in NJ a couple of hundred years ago! Wow, it's mind boggling. Peggy Apostolos PS BTW, I have a Throckmorton line through Deliverance. At 03:23 PM 4/6/00 -0500, Jackie A. Hello ! I am writing from St. Paul, but grew up in Browntown aka Old Bridge, New Jersey. I lived on Cindy St. in the "second section" of the Sayre Woods South development. My street was at the end of Thomas St. which intersected with Throckmorton Lane. Can anyone on the list please tell me the phone number of who I can call to get death records in Middlesex County. I am looking for information on Sodens in Jamesburg NJ. I was told that they were buried in a cemetery there. Thanks Bonnie.
Hi List, Can someone on this list please tell me where I can find a phone number & hours for the Historical Society in Perth Amboy? I'm interested in finding any info. on the LIDDLE & FOTHERGILL families. Particullary a George S. Fothergill b. May 30, 1802 d. March 15, 1880 Perth Amboy and wife Mary Liddle Fothergill b. Aug. 24, 1804 and d. Sept. 2 1921. (I believe the death year on Mary Liddle is definitly wrong, it was passed onto my grandmother that way). Both George & Mary were born in Little Strickland, Old England. My grandmother believes this is my GG-grandmother Mary's family. This Mary married a Walter Wilson. Mary & Walter had a daughter, Myra Alice Wilson b.Feb. 28, 1902 Gordon, PA. m. Lawrence Harzell (these are my great-grandparents). Myra died May 21, 1955 in Muncy, PA. After Lawrence died, Myra m. Harold Campbell. To sum it all up, this is way my grandmother thinks the line would go: George S. Fothergill m. Mary Liddle Mary Liddle Fothergill m. Walter Wilson Myra Alice Wilson m. 1) Lawrence Hartzell 2) Harold Campbell. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Carol Sterling
