I would like to receive plot information/ date of burial info for Joseph and Elizabeth Stehm(Stem). Joseph died Dec. 19, 1949 and Elizabeth died July 12, 1956. Can anyone advise me about this cemetery. I visited this cemetery about 5 years ago and was not able to find anyone who could help. Thanks.

I found the 1860 census for Barney ROWEN in Perth Amboy. It does not show a wife but lists the children: Margaret age 15; Thomas age 11; and, Mirian age 2. Margaret must have died or left the family between 1848 and 1850. All children were born in New Jersey, which definitely places the family in New Jersey as early as 1845-46. I also am trying to find census and sacramental records for those years. Kindest Regards to you and your family.

My primary research was the Harkins family. As I am sure you are aware Mary (Margaret) Lynch was married to John Harkins. I have a copy of Margaret's death certificate containing the following information: Margaret Harkins died 22 Dec 1891, she was 82 years old, born in Ireland, died New Brunswick, N.J. She lived in New Brunswick 60 years which would indicate she came to the U.S. in ca. 1831/32. Her parents were listed as William Harkins and Rosanna Harkins both born in Ireland. (It would appear that the use of the surname Harkins is a recording error and that her parents may have been William ? and Rosanna ?) Assuming this is the case her parents would be William and Rosanna Lynch. This is just a guess on my part. She is buried in "The New Catholic Cemetary". Her birth place was listed as Ireland. While researching the Harkins/Lynch families I found the following Lynch names in the 1850 N.J. Census, North Brunswick Township. What connection, if any, to Mary Lynch unknown. #73 Michael Lynch, age 50 with children, Jane, Nancy, Hannah and Isabella. #271 Rosa Lynch, age 13. #501 Ann Lynch, age 22. #548 Peter Lynch, age 21 #636 Ann Lynch, age 18 #721 John Lynch, age 24 and wife, Elizabeth, age 26. #1096 Bridget Lynch, age 13. Also in the 1850 Census, North Brunswick Township, a Thomas Lynch and wife, Rose, with children Mary, Rose, Ann, Bridget and Ellen. Also in the1900 census New Brunswick City a John Lynch with wife, Mary, and children Theresa, Mary and John. Also an Edward Lynch with wife, Margaret, and children, Edward, Mary, Peter, James, Margaret and Annie This is all the information I have regarding the name Lynch. If any of it is of value to you I will try to provide additional details. Should you have more information regarding the name Lynch, I would appreciate hearing from you.
