Dear listers, I had so much luck with my posting about the Soldier's Children's Home I thought I would inquire about another project. Does anyone know if children from the Soldier's Children's Home in Trenton were sent out west on the Orphan Trains? I am pretty sure my ancestor, Theodore Hedden, rode the train to Kansas in 1870 but just can't find postive proof. Have written to all the appropriate places and so far, no records. But was wondering if anyone else had a relative who rode the train, maybe to Kansas. Thanks. Arlene Dunkum
