In researching my family tree, I have come across a small branch of my family tree that lived in New Jersey for 80 years! (The name is STRAUSBERG.) They arrived in 1892. There were 8 children born between 1892 and 1910--plus a few marriages! I have learned that the records I need to get (in order to learn more) are at the State Library in Trenton. But since I am in Ohio, it would be a 24-hour round-trip drive. It would be wonderful if someone could help me by doing a lookup at the New Jersey State Library. (Or is it called the Archives? I am thinking of the place with the birth/marriage/death records.) Perhaps I could provide help in exchange! If it is of value to anyone, I am quite knowledgeable about the search for records in Chicago, Los Angeles, Manhattan, Philadelphia, Cuba, Poland, and Ukraine--just not New Jersey!!
