Charlie, My grandfather lived on Bond St. when he was a boy and I remember the area being referred to as Goosetown. The family lived in the St. Mary's Cathedral parish. His name was THOMAS F. BURNS b. 1887. Could you let me know how to get in touch with the Old Goosetown Neighborhood Association? Perhaps there is a lead there. I have had very little results in my search on this family. His father's name is JOHN BURNS who married MARY MARIEN/MARION. I want to find where John and Mary are buried and when they died. I have checked with St. Mary's Cem. but have had no luck there.
