[I have sent this message to Hubert directly, and to the Mercer rootsweb list.] Dear Hubert: I have looked on the US Social Security Death Index (SSDI) for you, and found no listings for either Felix or April Dollinger (using a Soundex search, which looks for spelling variations as well as the correct spelling). This was not surprising, considering that many people born in 1895 were no longer working before the Social Security (federal pension) benefits scheme was fully operational, and therefore would not have records under this search engine. Then I looked for Kenneth Dollinger in the SSDI. I found quite a few, but the birthdates didn't match up. I'll list some, but not all, of them so you can see what I'm talking about.
