In the Hunterdon marriage index that many of you have seen, there is an appendix entitled "Slaves and Negroes." I thought it might be helpful to post the names of the slaveowners. This is an area which I haven't seen explored on this list in some time, and it is certainly interesting (and tragic) from a family history point of view. I've also included the year of the marriage to give you a time frame on the slaveowners.
