G'day Mercer listers: I am writing to ask whether anyone on this list might be able to do me a favor. I am interested in finding the full record for Julia MASTERSON in the 1860 federal census for Princeton Twp, Mercer Co, NJ. From an index on Ancestry.com, she appears on p. 617 of this census. I believe that she may be my 3xg grandmother, but I am having great difficulty tracing her. Significantly, she is not indexed for the 1870 census. I'd love to see whom she is living with in 1860, if anyone. I might get lucky and find her with a known relative. From there, I may request a 10-year death search, but I'm reluctant to spend money ($1.00US = $1.58Aus) unless I can come up with something more than a wish that she might be mine.
