In the 1900 listing of the Trenton City Directory (on the Old Mill Society website) I found an entry for a David M. Bodine, mfr of high-grad temperance beverages and prepared ham in season. We know the family has a connection to Taylor Pork Roll and believe this to the one and the same. Does anyone know anything about this? Also what is a temperance beverage? I know none of you are old enough to have remembered this but maybe your parent's or grandparent's might have told you something. Thanks in advance. Marie Wright
