J., the following information in relation to Dr. Jonathan Ingham is communicated: He died on his way to Schooley’s mountain, by the roadside and was interred in the graveyard of the Presbyterian Church, in Bethlehem Township, about a mile from Clinton, N. J.; and the stone erected to his memory bears the following inscription: Sacred to the memory of Dr. Jonathan Ingham. Who Fell a Victim to the Yellow Fever, On the First of October, 1793, Aged 49 Years. Soon as man expert from time has found The key of life - it opens the gates of death. This place was formerly called Hunt’s Mills and the church was called the “old frame.” It is one of the oldest burying grounds in the County.
