Julie, You are a GEM! Again, thanks to you I have gotten little sleep but lots of missing puzzle pieces!! One interesting piece--my maternal grandfather died when I was about 5 so I remember what a sweet, gentle man he was. I remember hearing that he was an orphan and that fact has now been confirmed thanx to you as I found him in the 1870census.
