    1. Re: [NJHUNTER] Marriage record
    2. How wonderful that this book is online! However, it should be noted that the one online is the original edition published in 1918. In 1986, there was a revised printing published in cooperation with the HUNTERDON COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY. It was published by Hunterdon House of Lambertville, NJ , ISBN 0-912606-28-2. This volume contains many more pages of corrections and additions than the original book. These were compiled by members of the HCHS. And, in that printing, there are marks on each page to indicate when one should check for such additions or corrections. So while the online book is great, if you do not find a marriage you are looking for, it might still be a good idea to submit the names to the list so that someone with the revised edition can do a further check to see if it has been included in the revised edition. If a name seems peculiar, you might also want to check that out. For instance one Ruth RISE is listed in the original edition as marrying Calvin Larue. In the new revised edition there is a circle by her name to indicate that there was a correction. When you check in the back you will find that her name was actually Ruth KISE.
