It's really dd that I cannot find a marriage record for my Gt-Gt-Grandparents. They re both mentioned in the Op Dyck Genealogy book...and I found property ransactions as well. They lived on Tunnel Avenue at one time, and then wned/operated the Still Valley Inn out near Straw Church in the 1860's. -Rita n Feb 20, 2012, at 7:33 PM, Susan Pena wrote: > I looked at 3 different sections of the 1986 book and did not find these names. However, it should be noted > that the ne online is the original edition published in 1918. In 1986, there was a evised printing published in cooperation with the HUNTERDON COUNTY HISTORICAL OCIETY. It was published by Hunterdon House of Lambertville, NJ , ISBN -912606-28-2. This volume contains many more pages of corrections and dditions than the original book. These were compiled by members of the HCHS. nd, in that printing, there are marks on each page to indicate when one should heck for such additions or corrections. So while the online book is great, if you do not find a marriage you are ooking for, it might still be a good idea to submit the names to the list so hat someone with the revised edition can do a further check to see if it has een included in the revised edition. If a name seems peculiar, you might also want to check that out. For instance ne Ruth RISE is listed in the original edition as marrying Calvin Larue. In the ew revised edition there is a circle by her name to indicate that there was a orrection. When you check in the back you will find that her name was ctually Ruth KISE.
