    3. I have two obituaries for the same person, John Morrison. Trenton Evening Time, 27 Feb 1941, p. 8 says that he would be buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Trenton. Trenton Evening Time, 4 Mar 1941, p. 5 says that he was buried at Ewing Cemetery. Aren't these different cemeteries? Thanks for any advice. Regards, Mary Jo C. 3. No.... it's just one cemetery.... in an area that's part of the larger city of Trenton. Greenwood Cemetery is actually in Hamilton Township, 'near' Ewing, within the City of Trenton. To see what I mean, just go to Google Maps... and do a search for: Greenwood Cemetery, Trenton, NJ (make note of where the cemetery is indicated on the map) Then do a search for Greenwood Cemetery, Ewing, NJ (note that the same plot of land is indicated) Then do a search for Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Township, NJ (again, the same plot of land is indicated) Rita On Apr 11, 2012, at 2:46 AM, Mary Jo C. 2. A quick findagrave search showed John Morrison buried in Greenwood Cemetery with a whole slew of other Morrisons. No Morrisons are buried at Ewing Cemetery, at least none that have been listed with findagrave at the moment. By the way there is a third Cemetery--the First Presbyterian Church of Ewing Cemetery (AKA Ewing Church Cemetery) that is across the street from the Ewing Cemetery. It is listed as being at 100 Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ, 609-882-0273. That may be where Google map made their mistake. Kay -----Original Message----- From: Mary Jo C. 3. Thanks, Kay (and others), but I just put John Morrison in Greenwood Cemetery today. That's why you found him there. This was before I found the reference to Ewing Cemetery. I didn't want to remove the Greenwood memorial until I was sure they were different. So now I have some more research to do. 3. Ivins & Taylor is still a functioning funeral home. You might want to contact them. By law they are supposed to keep those records. They may be able to help. Perhaps he was to be buried in The Greenwood Cemetery and then something happened to change. Ivins & Taylor Inc 1740 Greenwood Ave Trenton, NJ 08609 Susan On Apr 11, 2012, at 8:38 AM, Mary Jo C. 3. Those are two different cemeteries. The Greenwood Cemetery is in Trenton (not far from the train station). Ewing Cemetery is generally thought of as the affiliated with the First Presbyterian Church on Scotch Road in Ewing which is a township north of Trenton. Two very different cemeteries.
