    3. Don't assume anything.  The two cemeteries are across the street from each other.  I have relatives in each and the burials don't have anything to do with religious affiliations.  Some in the Presbyterian cemetery are even Roman Catholic.  That particular Presby church is now meeting across the street from their original beautiful structure as their building has been condemned (another long story!) but you should be able to reach a cemetery office somehow. Wow.  I was looking for Annie's obit on GenealogyBank.com yesterday but couldn't find it.  Thanks so much!  (I have a lovely photo of her.  She was my grandmother's cousin, and my grandmother used to say such nice things about her.) Perhaps John was initially going to be buried in Greenwood, but they changed their mind.  Maybe the cost of plots was substantially different between the two cemeteries. It was a happy marriage, so there's no reason to believe that they were buried separately (I've had a few of those in my 29 years of doing this!). So John is probably in Ewing Cemetery.  That should be easier to check out than Greenwood. Now, the next question is:  Ewing Cemetery or First Presbyterian Church of Ewing Cemetery?  It seems to me that it would be the former.  If anyone is more familiar with these two cemeteries and their common nomenclature, can you confirm my assumption? I've changed both Annie and John Morrison to Ewing Cemetery from Greenwood on Find A Grave, pending confirmation. Thanks so much to Kay and Susan and Rita and Helen.  I appreciate a little help from afar once in a while. If there's ever anything you want in Australia...  I know, I know.  lol Regards, Mary Jo C. Mary Jo, Just to confuse matters a bit more.  On GenealogyBank.com,  I found the obituary for Ann P. Morrison, widow of John Morrison, born  Aberdeen Scotland, died Lambertville, Hunterdon County, New Jersey on 2 June 1961. The obituary states that she was to be interred in Ewing Cemetery. Services were to be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Lambertville, and arrangements were handled by the Van Horn Funeral Home in Lambertville. The obit appeared in the Trenton Evening Times of 2 June 1961, page 7 Kay Visit the Hunterdon County GenWeb page at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~njhunter ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NJHUNTER-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
