In 1850 Jacob Welsh owned two farms northwest of New Germantown (go about 1/2 mile north out of town and turn left (west) on the first road. Go about a mile and the farms were on the right). One of these would have been a farm he bought at the time of his marriage. The other of these farms would have been his mother's, Catherine (Crater) Welsh, who died in 1845. Can anyone tell me which of these farms had been owned by Catherine... and is the original farm house still in existence? Richard Welch Farmington, New Mexico
