VLIET and found a few websites that have a Garret VLIET, b. abt. 1775 as his dad, but with no source listed. I recently discovered Google's fairly new "Google Alert" option. You can set search options for people and include various keywords, and it searches on its own and lets you know by email if it discoverd new info on websites that contain the subject matter you specify. The URL for it is: http://www.googlealert.com/features.php I haven't really given it a good run yet, but it has come back with a few additional sources I wouldn't have known otherwise.
