    3. With all the Gano info being shared, I have to ask - I have a G-G Grand mother - Julia Ann Gano b. 11 Feb 1819 d. 13 Jan 1899 married to Isaac L. Pierce 3 Nov 1836 he was b. 27 Apr 1813 and d. 28 July 1891 possibly from New York as I have a cabinet card taken by Eddoews Bros 353 # 355 6th Ave. cor 22nd St, New York of each. I have no information about her parents. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Bob Philhower

    3. Another Gano question........I had an aunt, Emma Gano Sherman, d. of Thomas B. Sherman and Catherine Umstead, all of Hunterdon County. Emma's dates are; b.10-4-1894, d. 5-4-1976, m. Lawrence Crampton. I have often wondered where her middle name came from. Perhaps a Gano friend of the Sherman family? Has any Gano researcher run into Emma's name while looking up info?
