One more thing.... I have been following your thread from N.J. to Va. While I have not spoken up previously, Daniel Kitchen (my ggg grandfather) apparently followed a similar route, going from N.J. to Virginia (a large territory at the time), and then to Ohio, where he was given land, due to his service in the Rev.
