    1. Re: [NJHUNTER] NJ to Loudoun, VA
    2. Laurence and Sondra, I have communicated with both of you before about Sarah Lentz/Lantz Spencer who married Thomas Beavers in Loudoun County, VA in 1798. Her father is said to be John Spencer of Loudoun County. I have been looking at the names of their children to see about a possible german connection. I just don't see it. They both have records of making contributions to support the American Revolution. Thomas is not the man who is listed as dying in Wilson County, TN. That is another Thomas Beavers who had a gr-grandfather b. in Germany in 1695. If these families connect, I don't see it. In the NJ Genealogies Book there is a reference to a Beavers family from Sussex County, NJ that was related to one in Loudoun County, VA. I looked at Matthew/Mathias Beaver and also Isaak/Isaac Beaver...they just don't fit with the William Beavers in Loudoun County, VA--at least as far as I can see. Obviously, we should be open to any possiblities, but this is hard one. Judy Arthur
