    1. Re: [NJHUNTER] NJ to Loudoun, VA(Parke)
    2. Carly & Gary, Roger Jr. was not directly involved in the Coxe "incident" - he chose to stay in Hopewell and I assume paid the additional cost of paying for his land "twice" - paying Coxe again for land he already owned. In fact his land was bought by his father Dr. Roger Parke - I believe, if my memory serves me, he was given part of the land along Stony Creek that belonged to Roger Sr. - along with some land there also that went to Roger Sr.s daughter Anne. Roger Jr. then left this land to his daughter Keziah who married the Larison (can't remember first name at moment) - this land was then part of "Larison's Corner" - both Roger Sr. & Roger Jr. as well as Keziah and her husband and other Larisons are buried in a family plot on this land. This land was bought in present day by someone with no regard for the past and all the stones were plowed under to build a large home and the land is now "behind" barred gates so one can't even get to the area. This was a crushing blow to learn when those of us who are descendants wished to find the graves...... Yes this area is now in present day Mercer Co. in Hopewell.
