That is the reference that I found in the NJ Genealogies book some time ago. I do believe that the William Beavers in N. VA is related to the Beavers in western NJ. His information says that he served in the French and Indian War in New Jersey. He must have removed to Virginia after that. His family names are not german/dutch. I cannot connect him to the german families that were mentioned yesterday. Judy Arthur
