Bob, I don't know of any connection, but in my line there's a Dutch family 'COOL' which married into a WESTFALL family from Pomerania, Prussia (on the Baltic Sea). They settled in Kingston, Ulster County, New York before some went on to Hampshire Co., West Virginia. There was later a marriage into an OSBORNE family from Hanover Neck, Morris County, New Jersey. I haven't any hard data about COOLs in New Jersey, but wish you good luck. ---Gary from Berkeley ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue Reddell" <siouxsue@alltel.net> To: <NJHUNTER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, February 04, 2005 9:20 AM Subject: RE: [NJHUNTER] Records of Old Hunterdon Co. 1701-1838 by Phyllis B. Yes, that sounds like my bunch. In particular looking for Frederick Cool, who married a Mary in NJ and then migrated on into Washington Co., PA. This Frederick has been traced back to the originalDutch line, but would like a marriage record on him. regards, Bob and Annie Johnson ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary Smith" <garymarian@comcast.net> To: <NJHUNTER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, February 04, 2005 11:54 AM Subject: Re: [NJHUNTER] Records of Old Hunterdon Co. 1701-1838 by Phyllis B. I appear to have reached dead ends regarding the following families and would appreciate any help anyone can provide. I believe they are all from Hunterdon Co. My ggrandmother was Mary Tinsman Johnson b 7/6/1864 d 2/12/1958 married to Elijah Lott Rockafellow. Her parents were William Johnson ( a nice unusual name) and Margaret Boss. Thats where my info stops on that family. Also the mother of Elijah, Margaret Case Lott b 2/26/1829 d 1914, married to William Rockafellow. I have all sorts of info on the Rockafellow side but none on these other names. Can anyone help me out? Thanks, Sharon
