I am hoping you can help me. Some years ago I was told that a son of Jabob Everitt (Ebert) was born 15 bJUL 1766. The record of baptism was said to be found in a church (Presbyterian???) The church was in Alexandria(?spelling) near Flemington. I have moved a number of times since I received the message and can no longer find it. I would very much like to confirm this source also was the mother named-were there sponsers, is the church still active etc. I would appreciate any help you may give. William G. Phyllis D'Autrechy's "Some Records of Old Hunterdon County, 1701-1838" contains on pages 113 -141 the "Paris Register of The German Reformed Church of Alexandria, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, 1763-1802." On p. 118 under baptisms by J.G. Alsentz is this entry: "Jacob Heinrich, b. 13 July 1766, ba. 26 Aug. 1766, s/o Joh. Jacob Eberts & Anna Margaret. Wit: Jac. Heinrich Grau & A. Thiemat Casperin." The birth-date is off by two days, but could this be the entry you want? Leslie Moore Reference Librarian Hunterdon County Library At 04:25 PM 2/26/05 EST, you wrote: >I am hoping you can help me.
