    3. Hi, To answer your question, which son of Peter it would be Johannus so this makes are connection pretty far back. But I will say I got this from Loretta. I would like to find out more on this part of my family. I dont have excess to much other than the internet. I live in MN so it is hard to go look up records plus I have small children at home. (We are blessed with 6 children 22yr-11months and one grandson 10 months) Sorry to learn of Loretta's loss. That is always very hard. My both my grandfathers parents died when he was still a child and the kids got seperated and sent here and there. I have found out what happen to all but the oldest one who I havent been able to trace. The only thing he had left to go on was a copy of a page listing the births of all his brother and sisters. Have a great day, Linda Paul <rjainwi@charter.net> wrote: Linda, My maiden name was Sinclair. I cannot find when Peter came to the US despite what other people have written. Loretta e=mailed me and one of her 3 son's has died in the recent past, so forgive her for not e-mailing you. Tell me again. Do you know which child of Peter's you are from (they had 3, 2 sons and a daughter or at least that is what I believe from the baptismal records that I have seen). 3. Linda, I live in Wisconsin, so not only are we distant cousins from the sounds of it, we are also neighbors. I will work on it next week if I have time. 3. Linda, Hello. I belong to Ancestry.Com. I have been able to trace your grandfather Walter to the 1910 census along with Charles and the other names are hard to read, but I think Vernon, Arthur and Kenneth. I find them (Walter age 3) on the Clear Creek, Jasper Iowa census in 1900, your grandmother's name was Laura and she was born in Iowa. I find Jonas at age 7 in the 1880 census in Hunterdon New Jersey and his parents are Simon or (Simeon) age 35 and Elizabeth age27. I find Simon age 15 in 1860 father Peter and mother Elizabeth. Simon had a sister, Permillia who was 10. Maybe you have all of this information I am not sure.
