David, Somewhere, awhile back, I remember learning that these Baptist church records are not housed in NJ but in Philadelphia, PA somewhere in a Baptist church Archive. I know that here in NC all the Jersey Baptist Church records and in fact all the NC Baptist church records from the beginnings to present day are on microfilm and stored at Wake Forest University library here in Winston-Salem. I have gone there and made photocopies of the microfilm records for several of the Baptist churches including Jersey Baptist where all the folks from Hopewell came to - I would check with university libraries and with the Baptist church itself as to where the records are stored in Philadelphia.
