David, No, that Andrew BELLIS was born in 1855, and was a descendant of a related branch of the BELLIS family. He was the son of John and Amy (RITTENHOUSE) BELLIS. The Andrew I was referring to was the son of immigrant Adam BELLIS (1706-1761). This Andrew (1757-1843) was married to Elizabeth SERVIS (b. abt 1752) and apparently is buried in Hopewell. Philip (b. 5-1-1789) is not my Philip. I do show him as married to a Sarah, but have no marriage date and no maiden name/DOB for Sarah. Do you have citations for those details, by chance? Do you have any info on Sarah's PARKE ancestry? This Philip is a first cousin, twice removed, to Andrew (b. 1855) above. He was also the brother of the Elizabeth BELLIS who married George DUCKWORTH.
