Do you know if this includes Hopewell? I know that Hopewell was in Hunterdon Co. in the late 1700s and is now in Mercer Co., but I'm not sure when the boundaries were changed. The Question: Do you know if this includes Hopewell? I know that Hopewell was in Hunterdon Co. in the late 1700s and is now in Mercer Co., but I'm not sure when the boundaries were changed. Doug Gordon The Answer: The 1873 Atlas does not include Hopewell. Mercer County was formed in 1838 and that is when the southern portion of Hunterdon County along with portions of the other counties adjacent to Trenton were consolidated into Mercer. Regards, Bill
