    3. Hi Jan, I believe that Abraham was his brother as well as Leonard. It is also very possible that her had other siblings. The Abraham that I believe is his brother married Hannah Swallow and his son is Albert as you mentioned. Lafayette is one of the eight children of Samuel & Lucinda. He never married and lived with them most of the time until their deaths. I thought that the record of the marriage of any of the three that I believe to be brothers (and I think there are others I haven't been able to confirm yet) might give me more information about their parents. The record of death of Peter Davenport or Ann Cole Davenport would help. Since these events seem to have happened before 1848 there are no records in the state archives. That is why I am looking for the old church records. Thanks for your help.
